1. What is 'Lead India Publishers Association' and 'LIPA'?
'LIPA' is a short form of 'Lead India Publishers Association'. It is a non-governmental organization that serves the interests of Newspaper publishers.
2. Who is Initiated ‘Lead India Publishers Association’ (LIPA) ?
The LIPA's early lead taken by ‘Lead India Group’.
3. Where is the statuary recognition of LIPA?
'Lead India Publishers Associaton' (Lipa) is a national non-governmental organizations as the provision led in the Society Registration Act, 1860.
4. How can I become a member of LIPA?
If you are a Newspaper/Magazine publisher you can fill ‘Membership Form’ to become a member of ‘Lead India Publishers association’ (LIPA). Membership form can fill on LIPA website in the top menu tab called Membership Form. There by following the instructions to fill in the form and Submit. If you will be correctly filled the information, we will confirm your membership in 24 hours.
5. Which documents is required for Membership?
Following 4 documents are required:
  • Photos (passport size)
  • RNI Certificate Copy
  • Copy of ID
  • Copy of residence certificate
6. Which documents are valid for Identity proof and residence proof?
Document Valid for Identity Proof:
  • PAN card,
  • Voter ID card,
  • Passport,
  • Driving License
  • Ration Card (the ration card if your photo abailave).
If residence address not mention in above ID proof than you can submit these documents for Resident Proof:
  • Electricity Bills,
  • Water Bills,
  • Telephone Bills,
  • RC copy,
  • Registered Rent Agreement,
  • Bank Pass Book.
7. Will LIPA charge any Membership Fee?
No, Membership is free.
8. What will be my membership period and the class of my membershipt?
You will be General Member and your membership will be life term unless you are the publisher. But in special circumstances can be unsubscribed.
9. Special circumstances are?
  • If you have been convicted in a illegal work
  • If you have violated any rules and principles of LIPA, and so on.
10. Will you give I Cards to LIPA's members?
Generally membership I Card is not issued to the members. LIPA gives membership number to identify members and the full details of members available on the LIPA website in 'Members List'. But in special circumstances if a member wants to I-Card than by deposit of 100 rupees I-CARD can be obtained.
11. When I will get membership? When the website will put my membership in the list?
If the information given by you found right than within 24 hours to fill the membership form your membership will validate and details will be put on website.
12. When LIPA general body meeting will be held and is it necessary for general members to participate in meeting?
The general body meeting will be held annually and participation of general members is essential.
13. Will you give any documents to assure my membership in LIPA.
A document will be sent to you by email as Membership Certificate. The document to be confirms your membership information as well.

LIPA classified its works for members to help smoothly in six parts:  A) Office Assistance, B) Advertising & Marketing Support, C) Documentary Support, D) Technical Support, E) Audit Support and F) Consultancy for new publishers. 18. How can I get advertisement for my newspaper?
‘Lead India Publishers Association’ (LIPA) working on highly attractive advertising plan which will be discuss in next annual meeting of General Members.
19. Will you assist in getting publishers accreditation card?
Yes, LIPA on the subject to your every possible assistance.
20. Can you help to make my newspaper DAVP registered?
LIPA will provide all possible assistance to make your newspaper DAVP registered. LIPA will also ensure that your newspaper is not treating with any kind of secondary attitude.
21. Will LIPA also provide News/Article to us?
This topic has not decided yet, but governing body of the next half-yearly meeting on the subject will be discussed.
22. Will CA do the services free? If not, how much will be charged?
'LIPA' yet unable to provide free services of CA, but it will be function on very cheap rate.
23. It can even get a free CA services in the future?
Yes, it is possible.
24. LIPA how will provide technical support?
All technical support will provide by Internet, telephone and remote system.
25. Remote system is?
It is software which we can access any computer from the office of LIPA.
26. How LIPA will help for documentary problems to publishers?
In Delhi, if you have any difficulties related to newspaper documents you will be provided all assistance and information.
27. How will you provide assistance in dealing with administrative problems?
Administrative problems will be deal through various committees and consultants of the panel.
28. Is LIPA established for the advantages of only Lead India Group?
Lead India Group has been studying daily challenges faced by newspaper publishers. Lead India Group involved into a larger context to address the problem. 34. What are sources of income of LIPA?
LIPA's some sort of income is a Personal source. The Lead India Group and is being conducted through collaborations and contribution with some other organization.
35. Why reporters cannot become member in LIPA?
LIPA's main objective is also to be taken care of the interests of reporters. Membership is now only for publishers of Newspapers. Although the subject of reporter’s membership will be decide in the upcoming annual meeting.
36. Is LIPA against the Reporters?
No, keeping in mind the interest of the Reporters, Editor and Reader one of each class have been involved in a Governing Body.
37. How long will get the chamber in LIPA?
If you are a member of the LIPA than you are eligible to get chamber for the operation of your newspaper in LIPA building. Policy for chamber is under way and yet to be finalized. The conditions concerning to chamber will be disclose on the appropriate time.
38. What are the prerequisites?
  • First, it is essential that you must be publisher of the any registered newspaper.
  • If needed than can get some charges for life time Chamber, etc.
39. Is chamber will be registered with my name?
LIPA will be legally tied up with you.
40. In which circumstances Chamber can be taken back from publishers?
  • If you are unable to follow the rules set up by LIPA.
  • If you found indulging in any unlawful acts
  • If you lose the status of publishers, etc.
41. Will you charge any annual or monthly fee for Chamber Maintenance?
Policy will be announced on the subject chamber can allotted. It will be discuss earlier to you. It depends on the desire of members to accept allotment after going through all the conditions and policy for the chambers.
42. What need to do to get the Chamber?
All the procedures for the chambers will be discuss and disclose to General Members in upcoming General Body Meeting.
43. What is time frame to get chamber in LIPA?
All information will be announced related to chamber at the annual meeting of General Body.
44. Can each member get chamber in LIPA building?
LIPA will ensure that all members get the Chamber.
45. Where the building will be?
LIPA's first building will be in Delhi.
46. Where will the money for construction?
Building for publishers is a visionary plan for ‘Lead India Publishers Association’ and ‘Lead India Group’. For information concerning the money will be given to members at the annual meeting.
47. Where will the land for building?
Personal ground or state or both, at the annual meeting will be the final decision on the subject.
